Sunbeam studio is a beautiful and welcoming salon and April is the most amazing hair stylist I have ever been to! April gives me the most amazing cut and color and each time I leave I say “I think this is the best one yet!” The color is beautiful and continues to last and look just as vibrant until my next appointment. I see April every 12 weeks and I feel like I could go longer because of what a great job she does. My hair is so healthy and I can’t say enough great things about how beautiful the salon is, how kind and attentive the stylists are and how much I love my hair!!

Incredible! April Wetzel is a true hair magician. Her talent, kindness, and thoughtful approach make every visit a joy. The studio space itself is dreamy—clean, peaceful, and filled with positive energy. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into selecting the products they use, ensuring they’re top-of-the-line and clean. I can’t say enough good things about this salon. Sunbeam salon is the best. The only place in or around Boulder that I trust with my straight, fine, long, blonde hair. The whole team is professional and skilled. Every appt includes whatever hair things you need for that session rather than booking a la carte which is so nice. It’s beautiful inside and the staff is friendly and caring. Highly recommend!

I’m speechless on what to say. Which is rare for me. This location is a haven. I’ve been with my stylist, Carissa, for 8 years and followed her to a few places. I’m thrilled for her (and me) that she is now with Sunbeam. From the moment I walked in, all of my senses were pleased. I was surprised and delighted throughout my visit. I’m leaving with my aura and energy feeling refreshed - along with amazing hair. You can tell that ownership has put a lot of care and consideration into not just the space, but also the people here.

Ashley is amazing! The studio is always so clean which I so appreciate from a salon! I have moved but previously Ashley has always been able to read my mind with my hair goals and I never left feeling misunderstood or nothing except happy with my hair! I absolutely love this salon! I have been going to April for years now because she is the absolute best and is such a master of her craft. She is so thoughtful and really listens, and just makes my hair look incredible. I get so many compliments on my hair and it is 100% because of her. The salon is also a beautiful and welcoming space, with such friendly and knowledgeable stylists. I drive from about 30 minutes away because this salon and April are just worth it.

Absolutely incredible.
It took only a single visit with April to learn that she is a master at her craft & somehow an even brighter, brilliant human! After years of damage & a hairstylist abusing my graying hair, April was able to bring me back to life. She was thoughtful & diligent in her process, taking the time to ask questions & listen to really understand my hair goals. She executed brilliantly! We embarked on only the first step of a long journey but I have never, in 20+ years of salon visits, felt more confident in a stylist.
Aside from her incredible expertise, her salon is incredible! A wonderful welcoming warm space - every detail clearly thoughtfully curated. It’s clear that level of detail & love is April’s game.
I cannot recommend her enough!

Ashley with Sunbeam Hair Studio is wonderful! She helped me get back to a more natural color with beautiful dimension. My hair feels healthy and amazing. After a bad experience a few months ago at a different studio where my hair was over-processed and damaged, I cannot recommend Sunbeam enough. Gorgeous space, true professionals, and a hair coloring technique that leaves your hair looking and feeling so healthy!! Thank you!!
