Tempest is so talented and always knows the latest trends, so I leave feeling confident and refreshed every time. On top of that, she has such a warm, welcoming vibe—it feels like catching up with a sister every time I’m in her chair. If you’re looking for a stylist who’s professional, creative, and genuinely great at what they do, I can’t recommend Tempest enough

Came from out of town and needed my makeup done for an event. I was able to book an appointment very easily. I booked with the owner and she was very nice, very comfortable environment. The makeup look was amazing, beyond my expectations and lasted all night. Absolutely loved it and would return. 10/10

I go to Tempest / @slayedbytempb and I love my experience every time. Her work is amazing between installs, layering, curls, color, etc. She’s very thorough and makes sure she gets the specific blonde I want each time. I’m constantly referring her to others for installs and color.

Tempest is very responsive, maintains amazing quality of service and is super friendly too! She’s also assessed my hair health and given me advice as to what styles/ techniques will keep my hair healthiest but still give me the look I want. Getting my hair done with Tempest is always a wonderful experience that I look forward to, knowing my hair will look flawless every single time. She’s 10/10.

The salon team as a whole is also really sweet, every stylist greets you with a smile and they play chill music.

Easy to find! Available street parking - although you have to pay but it’s only $1.99. I had an appointment with Imani & I absolutely loved my make up. She was super nice and inviting. I love that she works in front of the mirror and throughout my appointment she stopped to ask if I liked certain things she was doing. It shows that customer satisfaction is her priority which is hard to find these days. I would recommend anyone to the area to her.

This review for the hairstylist Tempest (@slayedbytempb). I found her through social media and reached out to get a glueless wig. In the weeks leading up to my appointment, Tempest was communicative and responsive to all my texts. About a week before my appointment, I see that my credit card had been charged by her account for the remainder of the service cost. I reached out to her about it and she told me she would look into it and let me know the next day. I didn't hear back from her until 6 days later despite many texts/call on my end. Finally, I had to call the salon and speak to the owner (Jordan?) twice and threaten to cancel my appointment altogether before Tempest reach out to me again, who claimed that she had been calling another Annette in her contacts for the past couple days thinking she was calling me ?. Against my better judgement, I decided to continue with the appointment since I already bought the wig through her (@socialgirlhair) and didn't want to waste the money. However the appointment was horrible.

First off, she braids VERY tight so if you're tender headed beware. Then instead of a closure glueless wig which I told her I wanted for quick put on and go, she provides a frontal wig which if you know is a lot of lace to melt every morning (and I'm a newbie wig owner) in a texture I didn't ask for. When I asked her to cut layers into the wig, she chopped at it too short, leaving unflattering front pieces. I think she could tell that I was less than impressed with how everything looked but just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Since the appointment, I've noticed the low quality of the wig. Not sure if it's due to the quality of the hair or quality of the hair dye she used, but it started shedding within the first week. So frustrated for the wasted time and money.
