I am very thankful I found Jeanet! At my first appointment she discovered that my hair was not in a great condition with severe breakage. She listened to my concerns and my vision as well. Then with each visit she has brought me back to healthy and shiny! We changed things up today and she nailed it as per usual!! I highly recommend you go see her. I had moved to Salem and was bouncing around from salon to salon trying to find my permanent hair stylist. I am SO glad I trusted ONYX. Jeanet does an amazing job with my hair. She listens and truly pays attention to detail. You never feel rushed in her chair. It feels like you’re her only client for the day. I made an appointment with Katy Warren for a cut on my naturally curly hair, and she did NOT disappoint! She really knows how to cut curly hair and you can see that she absolutely loves her job; it shows in everything she does! The cut, the wash and the style were all I could have hoped for and more! She also was a rockstar and stayed late so that my daughter could get a haircut for her first day of school and my daughter is IN LOVE!!!!!
Katy was so fantastic just to chat with and so easy to talk to.
The hair studio is absolutely beautiful! The design colors are gorgeous (deep green, black, white and gold), the decor is amazing and the whole vibe of the business is relaxing and a feast for the eyes! I would HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with Katy or any of the other talented stylists at Onyx and find out how fabulous they really are!!!

If you want your blonde done right then go see Hayatt! She did an amazing job and made me love my hair again! It was not easy because I had a mixture of blonde at the bottom and my hair was really messed up from the last hair dresser I saw (not same location). I asked for blonde with light brown roots. She pulled it off and it looks amazing! Thank you! ❤️

Overall, my experience at Onyx was awesome. I came in with short blonde hair and left with a dark, shaved mullet. It was definitely a huge change, but my stylist, Hyatt, really understood the assignment and was also super chill to talk to. I spent around 2.5 hours total, and had a great time chatting and relaxing. I would definitely recommend Onyx, and especially Hyatt if you are looking for a cool alternative hair cut, or if you’re just looking to do something new and fun for the experience.

First time going and it was fantastic! Hayatt was very nice and so helpful. Really did a great job with my hair. She explained what I could do for my hair to be better and she took time to do shampoo, scalp treatment, trim and style. Helped me learn products good for my hair. The environment is so inviting and relaxing. Had the best hair experience ever. Loved it! Plus the price was incredible. Could not believe how reasonably priced everything is! Thank you Onyx and Hayatt!!!
