I've been coming here for about a year now and don't know why I haven't posted a review. This is THE place to get a haircut whether you're a child, adult, or senior because they are just that good. Very welcoming barbershop unlike others that blast music so loud you have to yell at your barber.
I love the ambience. Nice decor on each wall and the music playing not so loudly while the barbers chat and joke amongst each other. Or if you're not one to talk much, fear not since they have a TV that is usually playing something relevant.
Parking can be a bit tricky. You can parallel park right in front or if no space is available you can park round the side or across the way at store with all the knick knacks. But DO NOT park in the alley between Oak Cliff Barbers and CBD Kratom. Police will force you to move and may tow the vehicle.
It's situated in a nice locale with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops just a brisk walk away.

Old-school, no-frills barbershop whose barbers do their jobs efficiently and well.

Just got a haircut from Rafael Cruz the other day. One of the best cuts I've gotten in a while. He worked with me to figure out what my existing preference was (helps that I came in with photos and a measurement), and tweaked it a bit at my request. I'll definitely be coming back.

I get taken care by Joel and he impress me every time. He makes sure to take his time, to me it feels that he gets those extra details that make a big difference in a hair cut. I get his best option that he has to offer and its worth every penny. As long as Joel is cutting hair that’s who I am going to.

My first visit. Jojo was on time. Excellent cut. Very personable. After losing my favorite barber at Brass Tacks, I realized any of their barbers might move to another store at any time. Brass Tacks was great, but inconsistent. Since Jojo is from Oak Cliff, I don't think he's going anywhere. Local price and service is always better to me. No franchise to pay for. Thanks for a truly local alternative. Definitely recommend! Will update if something changes.

Been getting my haircut there for years. I no longer live in Dallas, but I am here every three months on business, I prefer to wait until I see Jay to get my haircut. It can get a little long in between cuts, but it’s worth the wait. “Jay” is the best, good conversation and a superb haircut at a fair price. Highly recommended this place.

I've been looking for a local barber for a few months now and I stumbled upon Oak Cliff Barbers. I booked an appointment and showed up about 5 minutes early Rafael was already waiting for me. I showed him a picture of what I wanted since Im not very good at explaining it and he knew exactly what to do. I let him go to work and he cut it perfectly. I think I found my go to barber. Rafael does a fantastic job.
