? ignore my stars please. If you want an honest review go down to the dates BEFORE the YouTube video then you will not have this confusion. For those of you not caught up, a youtuber said they scammed her. She had shown no proof at all but who knows. But to put a lot of your minds at ease MOST places you go to ask for your credit card information to book. I have never had one charge it ahead of time and that right there would be a scam but she does not show them actually doing that. She just claims they did and a bunch of people jumped onto those words but seriously asking to give your credit card information is a pretty typical thing.

I am not a follower of Mar. I have watched couple of her videos in the past. Her recent review about this salon is very unprofessional and unrealistic. She should have never given out her credit card number over the phone. Even if she did, where is the proof that she was charged? She should not ruin a small business for one bad experience. It is possible they figured who she was and why she was going there and that’s why her appointment got canceled. It is their choice not to give her service. Please stop posting bad reviews. Mar’s video did not seem true to me. It was one sided. There are always two sides to each story

So, I was all for Mar's video until I checked out these google reviews, and I gotta say... this girl never posted any real proof of her claims. She posted clips of phone calls that could literally be ANYBODY - so no proof there, and she doesn't show her bank statements or that her phone had no voicemail (though, that could have been deleted anyways.) She doesn't even show a phone call with her bank resolving the situation. My point is, if this truly happened, then letting the world know is great and I applaud her for it, but because the video offers no actual proof, all you young girls need to stop posting bad google reviews unless you've actually had negative experiences yourselves. Posting negative reviews about someone's business solely based on word-of-mouth is childish and honestly horrible! Even if this really happened, one bad experience does NOT necessarily mean they're scamming people, or that they're a bad business. Seek the truth yourselves if you care to, but quit being such "followers" and try developing your own opinions, based on your OWN experiences, before destroying a business's reputation! I hope some of you fake reviewers see this and take a moment to really think about what you're doing to a business that may not be as bad as she claims. If they are scamming people, then the REAL reviewers can, and will, call them out. Oh, and I should mention that I have absolutely no affiliation or personal experience with this business, because I'm sure some of you will accuse me of such. Don't live in California, haven't been there in years, and I do my own makeup. And yes, technically my review is fake as well, but since this business appeared to have decent reviews before this nonsense, I see no harm in it. Try checking out other people's reviews before hanging on one girl's opinion. They have/had good reviews on Yelp, Mapquest, and on their Facebook page - AGAIN, written BEFORE the video. I wish this company luck with this predicament (if they really aren't scammers, of course.)

I do watch Mar but only cause her performance is outrageously funny. That being said I have never done business with you and don’t know your side of the story. Really don’t care to either no offense. But thought a four star would help if you are honest and not scamming. As to why I didn’t put a five star review I rarely give five stars. Wither it is a big corporatation or a small business. Just cause your a small business doesn’t mean a five star is what you should get. I believe in honesty and will not give a five star unless it is truly deserving. Also the four star review for me means the place is amazing, five stars is for out of this world. Besides I wouldn’t give most of my favorite restaurants a five star. I do hope for your sake that you are an honest company. Yet don’t believe all who watch Mar believe what she says. Many of us know YouTube videos are edited, and just like reality tv shows the narrative that the artists wants is what we see. Good Luck to you and may God bless you and your artistic employees. One more thing if I ever do have the pleasure of needing you and the first time wasn’t what I expected I would still give another chance. Mainly cause I know in the business your in sometimes the client and the artist miss communicate. I edited this because I went back and read your copy and paste comments and saw I was wrong about something. As I said before Good Luck not that you need it, because God is always on the side of truth.

I just saw this video and I can honestly say I’ve been to salons that do the same thing as far as getting your card information before hand. I’ve never had an issue, it’s somewhat normal, at least where I’m from, to secure your appointment especially if it’s at a more high end place. I don’t think it’s fair to rag on a company you’ve never been to or to make obviously fake reviews. I hope y’all can get out of this mess. Maybe try to reach out to her to do a video where she does get her makeup done. It would definitely help. I’ve seen where people love this business, I hope y’all are able to clear your name.

I have not been to this salon and recently just watched the video that has flooded this businesses page with 1-star reviews who also have not been here but are relying on the word of a YTer who literally makes money from being dramatic/theatrical.

What really got me thinking is a previous review from someone who stated this YT girl does not show the entire call, can literally be talking to anyone, says the person is supposedly in Texas and sounds “Texan” (the woman on the phone did not sound Texan to me. I work in a call center and hear accents from all over the US). She also does not show the charge to her card. Or the actual call to the bank requesting the charge to be stopped. She shows her boyfriend on the phone but we don’t hear him say anything. And never in the video do they show the neighboring business saying what she claims they did because the gentleman didn’t want to be filmed (but then there’s clips of him being filmed)

Overall- leave this poor business alone. Look at all the facts. Not just what’s told to you but HOW they’re told and shown.

then why don’t you file a report against her for defamation?!? You guys are gonna lose your business man, loyal clientele can only do makeup for a few years. You need new customers to thrive and with the reviews you’re getting, its embarrassing. If you have all the proof and don’t go to court to stand up for yourselves then it’ll only prove her right. Ive seen many posts of you giving Bible references but even God tells you to fight for your rights! If she really is lying then PLEASE TAKE ACTION! Or else she will do the same to many other businesses as well! Otherwise just watch you business go bankrupt like the automotive place that ridiculed the pizza guy.

Edit: changed to 5 stars, after speaking with you i feel you guys have been defamed keep an update on the court decision and i recommend making a video explaining your side if the story on your youtube!
Tana and CardiB did wrong to their workers and the whole world found out the truth after the other side posted their side videos with proof. Have a nice day and hopefully this all gets settled

Nope, never been here - I live on the other side of the country. However, I don't believe it's fair to be leaving negative reviews of a place whose business you've never personally received just because of a heavily-edited YouTube video. YouTubers are always focused on making money from views, followers, clickbaiting, etc.

Maybe this girl did have a bad experience - maybe she faked some of it for views. YOU as a viewer do not know the whole story just from, again, a heavily-edited video from a YouTuber trying to gain views by following this current "went to this such-and-such place in my city" trend. Her video alone doesn't give random people the right to leave bad reviews when they haven't personally dealt with this business. It doesn't give me the right to leave a 5-star review either, to be honest - but dragging this business' name through the mud just because of ONE (edited) YouTube video is ridiculous and unfair.
