Today, my daughter and I went to the Malibu Barbie Cafe event in Wynwood with friends and had a great time. They did a good job of creating the perfect Barbie vibe. Good photo opportunities everywhere you turned. I loved watching my grown daughter roller skating in the skating ring! She was able to pull it off without falling!

The food was good for this type of event. We had the cheeseburger with fries, a salad, and cheese quesadillas. No complaints. We also ordered the Think Pink Margaritas, which were good also!

We arrived when the sun was out and left when it was dark. There weren't a lot of people today, so we got to experience more exhibits. We parked on the street close by. This was a great family type of event!

Had an amazing time, everyone was so warm and inviting, beach burger and the margarita was bomb. My bartender Tinaya was such a sweetheart. This experience was definitely a 10/10! Skating was fun and only $1. Definitely recommend. “Bye Barbie”

My wife and I usually enjoy pop culture pop
Ups. This one was a waste! The ambiance is barely passible as a Barbie experience.
I could have almost let the decor slide if the food and $16 drinks were good but they weren't. The burger was bland. Panckes has no tatse. The lolipops ( we got two different “flovors” ) took one bite and that was enough.
The $16 drinks were terribly made.
And then the server hits us with a $6 per person experience tax. I said what was the experience I’m being taxed on and she just looked away.

Overall it was over $150 for 2 people. We should have door dashed ihop

Such a fun concept and the food is absolutely incredible. Favorite item was the grilled cheese. Also loved the patio area and the staff was so friendly. Would recommend!

I have mixed feelings about the Malibu Barbie Cafe. Obviously, I didn't expect a five star Michelin experience. I went mostly to take cute pictures and eat okay food.

But the service was subpar. You pay for your food before you get to the place online. I was in a party of 3 adults which cost around $130. We get there and drinks are not included. Tap water cost $6! Then, they charged gratuity of $6 on top of the water. So, I paid $12 for 8 ounces of water ? I normally don't mind tipping but the servers were not great. Cocktails were priced at $16. I can only imagine what gratuity would add to that. Many of the drinks on the menu were not available like ginger ale, lemonade, and sweet tea. We had 2 servers because there was a shift change.

They forgot 2 of our 3 fries. The only person who got their fries on time found a hair in them. finished my burger before I even got my fries that we had to ask for twice (we had already paid for these items before arriving) and we also had to ask for condiments for the fries as well.

The second server barely came to check on us and stood in the corner until we flagged her down. When brought the cake pops, the waiter didn't know which Cake pop was which flavor. We did not go at a busy time so, the lack of service was just inattentiveness.

The picture areas were nice. The food was okay but that was what I expected. The skating rink was also smaller than I expected but it was probably more for the children.

All in all, I'd give it 2.5 stars. But I can't give half-points. ?

I had such an AMAZING time at the Barbie bar! Tinaya was the greatest bartender and recommended the West Coast Wave salad to go along with my pink margarita! I can’t wait to come back to try more great food and drinks!

This 'experience' is a total waste of time and money.

The staff are rude and surly. The food is meant to be created by a masterchef winner. It is all OK and the side salad is good but it is not worth half the money you pay for it.

The decor is pink, as you would expect, but there is no attention to detail. We sat outside and you cannot see a single picture of barbie or a barbie doll.

We went skating as soon as we got in but the booking app had a fault which took a long time to sort out. Eventually they let us on without a booking. We asked not to have the food right away as we were skating. They said that was fine then brought the food anyway whilst we were putting our skates on. We reminded them we wanted to wait 20 minutes for our food but they then said that was not possible having already promised it earlier.

With a little more effort: servers in costume or an 'in character' barbie and Ken walking around it could be so much better. I felt they did the mimimum effort to extract the most money from us.

None of the staff engaged with any of the many children present. To say hello with a smile would have gone a long way.

Lots of other people looked like they were also having a bad time. Especially the vegetarian next to us who was given a meat burger.

To give a balanced review, the positives are the photo opportunities inside and the side salad. That's it. And the table was wobbly.

This was a very hit and miss experience. There is a very loud bar next door which had luch louder music and we could smell weed. The sitting area was disappointing and very claustrophobic. It was a warm evening and the outside area was not it (there is a seating area inside, has air-conditioning).
It was a nice place to take pictures, that's all.
When it comes to price, for 3 people we paid 105$ for reservation + 3 burgers (which were 35$ each?!). Pricing for food is outrageous and they include a maximum of 4 cakepops for "free"?. The burgers were juicy but lukewarm and not worth 35$.
When we got there, we bought three drinks: 1 sprite (5$) and two alcoholic beverages (15$ each). When we finally decided to pay they charged us 65$?! (35$ for drinks + 10$ taxes + 18$ tip, which we couldn't say not to) and they have the audacity to ask for more tips for basically no service. The lady who was in charge of our table, came to us only twice! I do not recommend, it is not wroth 200$
