Met with PA Amanda. She was fabulous. Very thorough and friendly. She was very knowledgeable.
The nurse who took me in for my appointment, and took my vitals was not friendly at all. I have no idea what her name is. She didn’t provide it. Not a good start to my appointment. Luckily, Amanda was very personable.

I have had a great experience at Connecticut GI. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was very nervous about getting my first Colonoscopy and both staff and Shivani Sood MD helped calm my nerves. Everything went great!

Dr. White has really been helping me. Her treatments/suggestions have helped me a lot. She is courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I am happy to have her as my doctor. The rest of the staff that I have dealt with are helpful & kind.

I see Amanda S at this location and she’s is amazing! She has a fantastic bedside manner that makes you really feel heard and validated as a patient. She didn’t bat and eye at testing for several different things recently when I experienced difficulty swallowing and painful, choking episodes. It turns out that I had severe GERD and also had a pre-cancerous lesion removed from my esophagus. So many practitioners give runaround and gaslight patients, delaying testing and treatment for patients, but Amanda is right on top of things and is very thorough. She is a practitioner I would highly recommend.

my provider was good. trying to get a call back is literally impossible . i was placed on my third 14 day round of heavy duty antibiotics. the tech that weighed me and checked my demos and meds actually made me uncomfortable. she has to be one of the least supportive staff at a Dr visit i have ever encountered . Bad day I did not cause it so be nice! . she did her job . period. no smile hello , nothing .
the side effects i suffered were nausea , vomiting , diarrhea, and got another infection . the first day i called i got no response . the second day i requested a med for the infection and got a call back . after telling the tech i do not use my chart, 3 times . she told me the office would get back to me through my chart . Told her yet again and was promised a call back . that did not happen . i called a third day , general mailbox as my provider hasn’t gotten here mailbox yet …( very poor customer service ) .. and received a call back message stating to call my primary dr for the prescription even though this office prescribed the meds that caused the infection . i then had shortness of breath . i did get a call back from on call who advised me to continue the meds. my urine was so concentrated it looked dark amber . i feel there was poor care and poor communication .
i finished the meds and called the office . i got a real person who was lovely . i needed to let my provider ( i like her) know i was done with my meds and to get a test ordered to see if the antibiotics worked . this lady was very kind and helpful .
i saw another provider quite a few years back , and there never were any issues with the office .
i would not refer anyone to this office . Since the HH. merger this office has gone from 4.5 stars to 2 . i will continue my treatment as i like my provider but then i will be looking for another office .

The doctors and nurses at CTGI are very caring and they went above and beyond to help me get and appointment to review my care options and also for my procedures. Everyone made me feel like I was in good hands.

I appreciate this office giving me info that I should have had from the Willimantic office since my procedures that were done since April. They found things that needed follow up that I was never made aware of. Ty.
