My girlfriend and I spent one night / two days here. Wonderful host Diane was so accommodating and calm. room was clean, tranquil. The porch is a great place to hang out and relax. We had the best experience staying at the Sheffield House for the weekend. Every inch of the house was immaculate, the rooms, common areas, kitchen, front porch, etc. Diane and Ed were so friendly, accommodating, and just overall delightful. The house is situated on a picturesque little hill and the grounds are colorful with gardens. It is a short walk down the road from the center of town. We will 100% book there again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheffield House this weekend. Diane and her husband went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Being off the touristy part , the house is set in a quiet and peaceful spot. We highly recommend The Sheffield House. You won't regret it!

My daughter and I stayed at Sheffield House at the end of Labor Day weekend and we were very pleased in every way. We stayed in the first floor bedroom w private bath. The room was clean and freshly painted and the bathroom had been remodeled at some recent point. Even the mattress was recent vintage and comfortable. We had been at least a little concerned about Covid but there was hand sanitizer everywhere and also sanitary wipes in the shared kitchen where coffee and tea were served in the morning. All guests and Diane, the host, wore masks and social distanced. ||Sheffield House is about a three minute walk from town. You really do not need a car. We rented bikes from Beach Rose further up the hill. ||We felt very comfortable at Sheffield House and Diane is a lovely, unobtrusive host. She is there when you need her and otherwise not. It was a perfect quick getaway for a few days of swimming and biking at the end of the summer. We definitely would return and highly recommend!

We recently stayed at The Sheffield House on Block Island and had a wonderful stay. This lovely, clean B&B is within walking distance to town and all the shops and restaurants. The owners, Diane and Ed, are attentive and very nice and can offer every kind of recommendation -- from where to dine to the best beaches. Also, the chocolate chip bread offered at breakfast is yum! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Diane and Ed are great! they were engaging and spent time with us providing information about the island and it's history. The Inn is immaculately clean and charming. Our room was spacious with private bath. The porch was great for sitting and socializing with other guests. We will definitely be back!
