Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at Maks Asian Kitchen and Sushi, and it’s no surprise this spot ranks among the top 50 in the country. From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of impeccable, from the food and drinks to the service.

We started with the crispy salmon and crab wontons paired with a glass of Prosecco. Both appetizers were fresh, perfectly fried, and flavorful, while the Prosecco added a refreshing touch to the meal.

For the mains, we tried their take on General Tso's chicken and pineapple fried rice. The General Tso’s was indeed the best we’ve had in SWFL. Its perfect balance of sweet and spicy was delightful, and the pineapple fried rice was a delightful complement.

The sushi selections truly stole the show. We opted for the Dr. C and PB&J rolls, both of which were sensational. The Dr. C roll drizzled with truffle oil, delivered an unexpected yet fantastic flavor punch, while the PB&J roll was vibrant and full of complex, delicious flavors.

Overall, Maks Asian Kitchen and Sushi exceeded all expectations. We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!

I will be back for sure. Emily the host was so nice. Had a great meal, everything very fresh, good portions sizes for the big guy. The rainbow roll is always my go to. Jessica was my waitress and was the best. I guess crushing a Sapporo can with one hand is the thing? Haha good times

Our first visit! Friendly, personal greeting. The creamy shrimp appetizer was excellent. Highly recommend.
Our meals were also very delicious and generous portions. The sushi bar was also excellent. It was quite busy with a lot of customers coming and going.

Had the best sushi ever here! Each piece was fresh, flavorful, and masterfully crafted. The service was top-notch. If you're looking for a poke bowl, ask the server for the NICA salad; it's an off-menu gem. An absolute must-visit for sushi lovers.

Great staff - quick and always offering help. Clean establishment. Competitive prices comparable to nearby restaurants. Great sushi - perfect blends of flavors and textures. Gyoza pan fried and Hot & Sour soup were great as well! Would pass on the Chicken Lo Mein - the Lo Mein was good not great but the chicken was extremely bland. It’s like they cooked it without any condiment and just mixed it with the Lo Mein at the end. Every other dish was great and I will come back again to try more.

I’ve been to sushi restaurants all over the world and this place wins! The lobster roll (not on menu) was the best I ever had. Equally important was the service which was amazing. We will be back.

Fantastic sushi and good value for money! Will come back! A little busy place and too some time to get the starters, but worry the waiting time!
