went in last week for the student discount and came out with short, uneven, and somewhat crooked nails. the 1st pic is my inspo pic and said i wanted them square medium/short but mainly medium and gems. i was excited since it was recommended to me my a lot of girls but im really upset at how they came out since they were for an event. i knew it was going to be bad after the stylist started shaping my nails with a flare/cut out shape which is what made them come out shorter. wasn't able to get any gems and my white parts look painted on bad up close.

probably wouldn't recommend to anyone or go back.
lmk any other good nail artist tho! 🙂

Went in today to get a short acrylic basic nail set. On their instagram they offer 50% off Mondays and Tuesdays and on their website they list a short acrylic basic set at 55 dollars. I confirmed with the nail tech about the 50% off as soon as i walked in. When i went to pay I was told my total was 50 dollars, I asked if that was with the 50% off and she said yes. I paid confused and did not ask for a price breakdown (which i regret) because the owner was very intimidating. Walked out upset because I thought I found a new nail salon with great prices 🙁

I’m new to San Antonio. Walk into The Nail Room. I was greeted by the Receptionist Stephanie. Stephanie was so friendly. I decided to do a GelX set. Which I love!!! Best Nail set I ever had. Owner was also super sweet as well. This salon definitely has amazing energy! If you looking for a non traditional salon. You won’t disappointed! 10/10 . The Nail Room has found a new customer! Thank you Ladies! Can’t wait for the Austin location! Also, they have memberships!

Ladies this place is a absolute must! The owner welcomes you and engages in great conversations so uplifting and encouraging. Her nail tech (with the beautiful long hair) does AMAZING WORK!?This place is a whole vibe....most definitely coming back.

I have never had GelX done before and I am in love with the results and the shop! Everyone was super friendly and inviting and I felt like i was just hanging out with old friends. The shop is clean, organized and they work very efficiently! The owner even walked in and spoke to everyone and you can tell she takes amazing care of both her employees and her customers since she checked over their work when she was done! I don’t really leave reviews but they definitely deserve this, these ladies are amazing and a black owned shop is a plus 🙂 I will definitely be back, and booking is easy but they take walk ins as well, give them a try if you’re looking for a new shop, you will not be disappointed!

I got a gel pedicure and it chipped the same week! Multiple toenails had chipped by week 2 and I’m in the medical field so I’m in socks and sneakers most days so pedicures usually last me a really long time (aka I’ve never had a gel pedicure chip). They were willing to fix it but my time is super limited so never had the chance to go back and it’s like i shouldn’t have to. Also, there are no jets in the pedicure bowls. It’s literally just a bowl of stagnant water. The nail tech didn’t spend much time buffing or massaging my feet either. Too bad though cause i live 2 blocks away and wanted so bad for this salon location to be my go-to 🙁
