Had my nails done by Jenny and it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. The place was not busy at all, however she was incredibly rushed in everything she did and she was SO rude. She did not soak off my gel polish but instead ripped all of it off with the little drill file. I had one nail that was broke and needed a fake tip, it was so crooked it was almost touching the nail to the left of it and she told me that’s “just how my nail goes.” I said no it’s not, it’s never done that before and my other hand doesn’t do that either. She didn’t let me look through any of the polish while she was working but instead handed me ONE swatch (out of their 10+ different swatches) right before she was ready to paint my nails and rushed me to hurry up and pick out a color. The gel polish she applied did not match the one I picked AT ALL and she put it on so thick that it dried with a drip running over my nail, they look disgusting and the polish is all over my skin. I went straight to L’Amour nails when she was finished and paid full price just to have them re-done. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

So peaceful here and relaxing. Jenny always does such a wonderful job on my nails making them look perfect and neat. I've been going here the last 3 years and love them!

Avoid this nail salon. She did an awful job on my nails. The nail wasn’t even fully glued. I went back an hour later to have them remove them and they didn’t give me a full refund. Horrible customer service.

This is the only place I go.

I first came here to get pedicures with my boyfriend. We had a relaxing experience and even the cheapest pedicure (lavender) makes you feel pampered.
I have gone back a few times, by myself, since then and still had great service. My feet are always so soft, especially after the hot wax, and the message chairs are great!
The last time I went the employee seemed a bit rushed when painting my nails. It was cold outside so I put my socks on after about 20 minutes under the light. Right when I got home I called back because the clear coat didn’t cover one of my nails entirely and they nail polish was smudged. They were very kind and when I walked in the next day they cut the extra polish off and repainted them. They looked as good as new.
The last thing I noticed is to ask for them not to cut my cuticles. One time they cut my cuticles and I started to bleed a little. I prefer for my cuticles to just be pushed back and scraped off. If there is still dead skin sticking off then I’m okay with it being cut.
I plan on getting my first manicure there for the holidays.

I visited the salon Wed 1/24/24 after leaving my job at Goodwill in Bourbonnais. Anna gave me my pedicure. She was extremely thorough and I was so relaxed that I wanted to go to sleep during the service. Her leg massage technique was the best ever! The only downside to this experience was that even after sitting under the lights for an additional 25 minutes to allow my polish to dry, when I got home both of my big toenails were badly smudged.. I wasn't happy about that but otherwise my experience was great.

I will never return here. The staff is very rude and unwelcoming. I had the most terrible experience there and was actually a bit frightened with how out of control the owner was. I had to leave but thankfully found LAmour in Bradley which will have my business from here on out. Bar Nails is not only poor quality, but the added disrespect they openly display for their paying customers is absolutely repulsive. Judging by the reviews and the responses from owner, it’s very clear that they have no shame in continuing to display their unprofessional business practices.

The owner very obviously has made over 10 recent fake reviews rating this place positively. Beware, they are horrid people.

Had my eye brows waxed and lady that did them was yelling in my ear then called me a cow. I will never go back. But the guy did my nails and my toes was super nice.

The most painful and sloppy pedicure I have ever had. The lady just kept cutting my toenails shorter. She then tried to file down the under part of my nail that was sticking out..which was extremely painful and even after I jumped, she continued to try to file them.
She then (very roughly) used her nail to clean off the excess polish... My nails are so short and the polish is very sloppy. My toes are actually sore from how much filing and cutting she did, one of them has a cut on it.
