This place was definitely in the "ok" range. There's no prices posted, so you know right away you're getting the "tourist" discount. Had the oxtail, conch salad, beef patty, garlic shrimp and two beers and the total was $81.
I hate to say it, but I've had better back in the states, it definitely wasn't terrible though

We were dropped off in front of the shopping area in front of Barbie's Restaurant. We decided to try the Conch fritters and sweet potato fries. They were extremely busy which is understandable however, our order arrived quickly. Everything was prepared fresh to order. The food is delicious. I would recommend coming here. Please be prepared to wait since, everything is prepared fresh. It's a beautiful view of the ocean across the road. ?

Definitely a must try if you are visiting the area. The jerk chicken was so fresh, juicy, and tasty. The seasonings were sprinkled with perfection on this dish and the portion was impressive.

We stopped in the area on a Tram Tour, and I asked for a recommendation. Our driver mentioned a couple of places but stated if you can make it to Barbie's, you should try it. So off to Barbie's we went. I ended up opting for something that was already ready based on the fact that the stop was for 25 mins and by the time I made it to the counter to order we had 10 mins left to order and get back to the tram. I ordered the garlic chicken, and it was really flavorful. It was very busy in Barbie's. The food was good, and I would go back and order something different if I had enough time.

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

This place is a hole in the wall restaurant—which is a good thing! The food was decent and comes out quickly. My husband had the jerk wings which were very spicy, and I had the curry chicken meal. The meal comes with rice and coleslaw.

There aren't any prices posted, which makes it a little more difficult to make a decision. I'm fine with paying for water ($2/bottle), but I hate that in order to get more water, I need another bottle. It's so bad for the environment and here we are on a little island that is surrounded by the ocean and negatively impacted by plastic.

My biggest complaint is that it is a busy place (and I imagine it's always busy when a cruise ship is in the port) but feels very chaotic. For example, I went back for a water and waited in the huge line of people ordering food. It seems like there could be a better way. Also, there isn't a bathroom.

This place is a good option on the island and is right in the middle of the tiny shopping "downtown" area.

This place is great! Out cruising around on a golf cart and stopped in. Got a strawberry icee and conch fritters, both were good! Good menu here and the server (guessing her name is Barbie) was very friendly! Lots of different places to eat in this immediate area and food trucks but I would choose Barbies!

This was recommended to us. The wait was quick long. Though it was delicious! They were out of the 2 items I wanted. I opted for their alternative which was Honey Garlic Chicken. I was disappointed but the food was good and it made up for it.

There was also some commotion with a lady taking orders, she refused to write the orders down and was messing up people orders. I was an example as well, I asked for an extra side with my meal and I didn’t get that.

The food was also surprisingly expensive. We got 2 meals for 40 bucks. The portion for the food was not fair but the quality I think was close.

This was a stop on our island tour of Grand Turk. There were a number of little shops and food vendors. I had the fried conch fritters and a local IPA beer; both were very good.
