Nestor and Diana are the absolute best team around. They made me feel so so beautiful and I still felt like myself. I am so so pleased with the work that they did. I cannot recommend them enough. I have never looked so good.

The Blush team in general was so helpful and they were so amazing with taking care of my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. Everyone was so happy with their look and could not stop staring at themselves in the mirror. We were ready ahead of schedule and we also didn't have to start at the crack of dawn which everyone greatly appreciated.

This was my second time with Blush Monterey for hair/makeup and I am always so happy with the results! The first time I got my Hair/makeup done by Blush was for a wedding I was in as a bridesmaid. I was obsessed back in 2018 and when we picked our venue in Monterey, CA (May 2024) - I knew that I had to go with them for my big day. Although the prices are a little more expensive than some other companies you can find out there - tip is included & the quality that you get is worth every penny. My bridal party literally looked the BEST that I have ever seen any of those girls - and all of them felt gorgeous! The team is also very efficient - we had 12 people getting ready - started at 8am and we were done around 12:30/1pm - with time to relax and eat afterwards! Our hair and makeup lasted all day and into the evening - and if you’re lazy like me – it will still hold up the following day!

Next time we’re in Monterey for a special event or a romantic weekend - I will definitely be booking an appt with Blush to feel gorgeous and treat myself!

I had a really disappointing experience with Blush Makeup Studio in Monterey. The manager, Liz, called me to inform me that someone else wanted the same date as I did. She insisted that in order to secure the date, I had to pay a deposit. So, I went ahead and paid $474 as a deposit. Five days later, Liz sent me the contract, and there were several terms that I didn't agree with. One of the policies stated that I had to give them permission to use photos taken by my personal photographer for their social media and advertisements. And if I didn't agree, they would charge me a whopping $500. I asked them, "Since when do I have to pay for not wanting to be on social media?". Naturally, I decided to cancel my appointment and requested a refund of my deposit. However, Liz flat out refused, saying there was no way they would return my money. I found it incredibly unfair, especially since I hadn't even signed the contract yet. I tried to reason with them multiple times, but they remained stubborn. So, I took matters into my own hands and made a dispute claim with my bank to get my deposit back. Even then, Liz still refused to give me my money back. It was so frustrating! That same day, I informed them that I would have to take legal action against them, in which they agreed to take it to court. This whole situation has caused so much stress, and it's the last thing any bride needs just a few months before her wedding.

I hired Blush to do hair/make up for myself, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma the day of my wedding. When I went in for my trial I was a complete frazzled mess and they were incredibly understanding and worked with the little guidance I gave them. I loved exactly what they did at the trial and even ended up buying extensions for the first time at the recommendation of the hair stylist.

On my actual wedding day, we had 6 hair/make up artists and they were a well oiled machine! Every single one of my bridesmaids looked so beautiful and no one had cake face or looked fake. I hardly ever wear make up in my daily life, so I wanted a very natural look (even if that meant some blemishes were somewhat visible). I've told probably a dozen make up artists this at previous events and they never executed on it as perfectly as she did. I felt so beautiful and the extensions that were recommended at my trial looked amazing!! They also gave everyone a little touch up bag to use during the wedding.

Huge bonus was that we finished an hour ahead of schedule and I got to sip a mimosa, eat some food, and just chat with my girls! Totally stress free experience and the quality was top notch.

Marissa and Lydia did my hair and makeup for my welcome party and my wedding and they were both incredible! They both worked with me to give me exactly what I was looking for both days, and listened when I wanted to make a few changes after the trial. Marissa made my hair look amazing and knew exactly how to work with extensions, and Lydia did an amazing "glam" look without it looking too un-natural and was even able to work with my usually very sensitive eyes so I could still wear lashes.

More than being talented artists, they're both amazing people! The morning of your wedding is already so stressful and having their support, good energy, and laughs makes a BIG difference. Highly recommend working with Marissa and Lydia!
