I recommend this establishment because of Lola. During my two years in San Antonio she was the best hairstylist my brother and I had. She was always personable and attentive to the details, making every visit a highlight of my week. Most important, she made my hair look good, every time.

Is the Boardroom pricey? Sure: but you are getting what you pay for and it’s surprisingly reasonable if you only get your hair cut once a month and subscribe for a membership (like I did). I always felt it was money well spent, whether I purchased the Express or Benchmark, and I always felt appreciated by the all of the staff.

I was a frequent business customer & get a cut every 2 weeks. I went to this location for about 9 months and will no longer give them my business:

- several stylist changes in 9 months
- several stylists I had complained about poor culture and management that led to constant turnover (never a good sign for any business)
- appointments were usually kept but on several occasions were cancelled last minute; business considers each stylist interchangeable when in fact they are not based on experience; experience not communicated in the app
- haircut notes are intended to be centralized and accessible for all stylists but on several occasions with the multiple stylist changes it was clear that stylists do not check previous notes, leading to me having to re-explain what type of cut I wanted
- despite paying up front for an entire year, business decided to charge me a no show fee when I was prevented from making it to an appointment due to work obligations; I tried to cancel via the app but they don't allow cancellations through it; no show policy is not equitable with how frequently stylists are changed combined with appointment rescheduling/cancellations on the business side
- on several occasions my appointment did not start on time as well
- one of the departed stylists gave me the best haircut I've had in 20 years; talent retention is clearly a problem

The atmosphere is great and if you have an appointment they can get you in and out fairly quickly. My stylist was Paulette. I highly recommend her. She's a professional that was able to consult with me about what would look best with my face shape and is a great conversationalist. I'm definitely going to continue coming back to this place.

I have been going to this location for several years, and I highly recommend it. Lola has been cutting my hair for a long time, and I always look forward to my appointments. She does a fantastic job, and her friendliness makes every visit great. Get the Benchmark, and you will leave relaxed and rejuvenated.

Took my 14 year old son to get his haircut and Monica did a fantastic job. Cut was worth every penny. Monica, if you see this, sorry for my son's lack of enthusiasm. He's naturally quiet, but he does love the cut. First thing he did when we left the salon was video call his friends to show them. Thank you so much.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

Took a chance on going here and I gotta say I will be back happily. I used to go to the other sporty cut place, and kept running into trouble. Not so here.

Victoria took care of me, gave me advice and stuff things amazing things.

Is it for every one? Depends on what you're hair is worth to you.

A bit costly, but totally worth it in my eyes.
