The receptionist make patients life impossible when it comes to appointments. They get really condescending and rude if you cant make it to an appointment due to work and won’t squeeze you in. They grin at your face and enjoy seeing you frustrated no matter how bad you need the appointment. However, they will squeeze you in the first time so they can get you as a patient and bill your insurance. I decided to stop getting care there due to the customer service attitude. The midwives rush and dismiss pregnancy concerns. No standards. Bill your behind from now own

My experience here was really bad. The second I walked in I heard a patient complaining about how long here wait was. Little did I know I had to wait almost two hours to be seen. Super unprofessional do not recommend. Staff need to work their schedules better so patient should not have to wait for a 25 minute appointment for two hours! Definitely the description of a place I would say no place should be like!

DO NOT COME TO HERE IF YOU NEED A PSYCHIATRIST! First they make you switch your family doctor to their family doctor in order to see a PSYCHIATRIST!! When I go there for the appointment, i don't even get to see a psychiatrist! They send the new young inexperienced therapist to go see my family member ! After few short minute of questions she decide to call the police 911 ! I specifically told her I do not want to get lock up in the mental health facility because it scary in there ! She disregarded my request and call 911 to have my family member get lock up for 2 weeks ! Such as Useless psychiatry department ! Please take your love one to mount sanai behavioral center at 45 livington st for your psychiatrict needs!

DISCRIMINATION!! DISRESPECT!! UNPROFESSIONAL!! During the initial part of the visit, I spoke with MD. Mabel Gong in English, and her attitude was normal. However, as a non-native English speaker, I requested to switch to Chinese (They provide interpreter) to ensure clear communication. After making this request, Her attitude changed drastically. She became impatient, spoke to me in a loud and dismissive tone, and refused to conduct a routine chest examination, despite my request. Instead, she repeatedly questioned why I had come to the clinic, without providing any medical care.

I was left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable by her actions. When I attempted to file a complaint with the clinic supervisor, I was informed by the receptionist that the supervisor was not available and that there was no clear timeline for when they would return, thus preventing me from making a formal complaint at the clinic.

Had a terrible experience from OBGYN. I was told consulation is fine from the doctor so I assume consulation was to get knowledge and information. Instead, the minute I was brought to the room, I was told to change my clothes for pap smear. Despite verbalizing I don't feel comfortable, I was still asked to do so twice and the medical assistant had a rude attitude about it when I refused the pap smear. The person who I spoke to also was neither kind nor patient with her bedside manners when I verbalize discomfort. What kind of place asks you to change clothes right away without asking if you're comfortable doing it and still proceeds to ask when you denied to do so? Extremely disappointed.

This also happen at the 1st pcp visit with the new doctor on 4/2024 as well where I was ask to move to bed despite expressing my discomfort more than once. I honestly do not understand how come patients voices are not being heard by the medical assistants and nurses while working at a job that requires so much people interaction. Right away, I call asking to speak to management about the lack of consideration and care from the nurses. This never happen at former doctor visits.

Lastly, if and when you call the front desk, most times they usually are rude, dismissive, or impatient.One thing that I appreciate was Dr. Sha Zhu the pediatrician who I saw previously. She was a great pcp who always listen and had great bedside manners. Sad that I had to switch from her as I got older.

I went to their other location before being referred here. The office was understaffed and receptionists couldn’t really bother to care. Wait time was okay and nothing had to be filled out.

While waiting for the doctor. The nurses inaccurately measured my height and grabbed me without consent. The appointment went fine with the doctor trying to persuade me into purchasing a product for something that was never in my concern.

Needless to say, I wont be returning.

This practice is great! Both my kids come here for pediatrics, dental, and and more. The staff are friendly and responsive, speak several languages/dialects, and make calls beforehand to confirm the appointment and afterward to follow-up. I have friends and coworkers who come her for internal medicine, women's health, and other services.

Their internal medicine, gynecology, and psychology teams are wonderful— this 5-star review is for them! I’ve been a patient in Chinatown for many years and have almost always had a wonderful experience. They’ve always made time to see me, including on a Sunday when I had what I thought was an allergic reaction but turned out to be shingles— they caught it immediately and spared me from the major complications that could have been caused!

Skip the psychiatry dept tho. They’re not my bag. But this review isn’t for them.
