Megg has been cutting and coloring my hair for 12 years now, and I will never leave her -- she is the ultimate professional, creative and smart, trustworthy and engaging. I can tell her what I want, or ask her to decide what she thinks is best. Not only has she given me the best hair for years, but she also cracked the code on my son's crazy hair and gave him the coolest haircut. Megg has built Fringe from the ground up and staffed it with savvy and skilled artists -- Ellie, for example, is a ray of sunshine and my daughter loves seeing her for haircuts. The front desk staff is professional and helpful - Sarah has been so patient and hardworking to get all our appointments scheduled - and the Fringe space has a relaxing, chic vibe with great music and snacks, and that gorgeous green couch. After coming to this salon since 2020, I had the worst experience with their customer service and will sadly never return. My son got a concussion and I had to keep him at home, and I received the Salon's text confirmation request, but did not confirm, figuring they would cancel my appointment. Then, two days later I noticed the entire $200 service was charged to my card on file. I called to ask why I was charged when I never confirmed or showed up for the appointment, and was told that is their policy no exceptions. I tried to explain my son got a concussion in school so I had a lot on my plate and also that I did not confirm the appointment, and they refused to even bill me for only half as I was requesting.

I told them that it was very upsetting that after years of going there and never having this happen before they would take this stance, and I would leave a negative review to let others know what happened to me, and would not be returning. Still, they did not care. Much of what makes a business good is taking care of their customers and at least giving consideration to someone who had an emergency situation. It would have been nice if they actually cared about me as a person and customer. Apparently, it's only about the money at any cost, which is super disappointing. Beware.
