Have gone here about 3-4 times, haircut is great. Main issue is how I missed one appointment and got blocked from booking again. When calling to ask about booking, they said I needed to pay for the missed one and book again. I try to book again to find out I’ve been blocked from booking again because of a policy that isn’t on their website or told to anyone. I do not understand why they would say I could book again if that was never the case. I was going for my sons haircut and missed it, tried to fix it and was not able to. This seems like such a ridiculous policy to have for repeat customers or anyone in general.

Edit because the owner has responded and I cannot reply to that:
Me calling the barbershop to try and book again WAS me calling to make things right. I called after I realized the appointment was missed and tried to make it right. I never stated this was a hobby for anyone and I understand that this is the career for those working. I see my reply was the only one replied to when making this review and I’m sure it’s because MY barber didn’t like what I wrote. They openly talk about other customers while I was on the seat a few times so I wouldn’t doubt they did the same after I left this review. Another thing to add, I have waited on MY barber past my scheduled appointment time because they showed up late, but I guess it’s okay when they do it to customers. 1 time offenders being blacklisted immediately is a ridiculous policy if your goal is to keep consistent customers who were also bringing in new customers.

Today. 7-6-24. I had an appointment with Jose at 9:00 am. I scheduled this last time I came in as I liked his cut. I walk in at 8:50 am. Lady barber greets me but no one else says anything. I see a barber at the back near the chair used for my cut last time. 9:00 am I walk towards that chair thinking the barber at that chair is Jose. As I walk by a barber cutting a head, he says to me, Do you have an appointment with Andre? Andrew”? I say no, my appointment is with Jose. He says, “I’m Jose. It’s going to be a few minutes.” I’m confused. I go sit down thinking, ok, I’ll give him a few minutes. As I sit down, the gentleman sitting next to me says, “I’m his 8:30 appointment.” ? At 9:00 am Jose has a guy in his chair. His 8:30 is still waiting and I’m the 9:00 am appointment. No one including Jose says anything else. No apology. No explanation. I guess I’m just supposed to sit and waste my Saturday morning waiting until Jose finds the time to squeeze me in. Wrong. I walked out. I’m not playing this game. Unfortunately, in today’s world, a lot of us do not understand the importance of integrity or common courtesy. I place value in these things at my workplace and I always keep my word to my customers. It’s the right thing to do. I was taught proper etiquette and consideration. Be kind to others. I’m never going back. I’d rather cut my own head. Think about this before you waste your time with Jose or anyone else at this establishment. The worst part is when one pays out one is presented with a request for a tip of, not 15% as before, but now everyone is asking for a 25 to 40 % tip. Better look at the machine. Or you end up tipping 25-40% for a lackluster effort. Not me.

Best place in town to get a haircut! Jose Reyes takes his time and makes sure that fade is on point. The staff is super friendly and the music selection is awesome, from Hank to Eazy. Go check this place out, you won't regret it!

Really great place to go! I had a botched haircut done from another place, came in last minute to their shop for a second opinion and José took the time to fix it before an appointment booked with another person a few minutes later. Not only did the haircut turn out amazing, he also did it quick, & didn’t even want to charge me for his great service. 10/10 service, 10/10 haircut. Will definitely be back!

Went in for a beard trim a few weeks ago. While waiting for my appointment I decided this place wasn't for me. The music being played referred to women and men's genitalia using vulgarity. It was absolutely not music a gentleman would indorse. I told them I had to leave because I didn't want to hear music that was that nasty. They said okay and didn't worry they where loosing a possible regular customer. Their business, their right.

Props to Jose Reyes! He fixed a botched home cut by the inlaws on my step-son and got him looking fresh again! ? He also got me cleaned up with nice fade. If your looking for a personable dude with top notch ✂️ skills, I highly recommend treating yourself with an appointment with Jose! 5 Stars!
