I had this company service my cooler for the season. I was charged $125 plus any replaced parts, my total was just short of $160, and a $20 tip. Within an hour of this service my cooler started making a horrendous noise, sounded like a helicopter was landing on my roof. I called and Eric came back over shortly. He oiled my bearings which he said needed replaced and I ask the cost. He said $12 apiece but he would not be able to do it until I called the office and scheduled another $125 charge and the cost of bearings. In my opinion a professional should have known the bearings needed replaced. I do not recommend this company.

They installed my new cooler which is good, Cooler now doesn't work on low high only. Paid for a stand I didn't need. Was told I would be called the next day by 9:30 about the refund no call I finally called at 11:00 to be told they technically were closed and she wasn't in the office and that they may or may not make to fix the problem today as I had cool air and to come in on Monday for my refund. Don't like the fact that I was told I would get a call by 9:30 am and nothing

This company is beyond ridiculous in price gouging. They charge by the hour and the clock doesn't stop ticking when they go to their office for parts. This guy left two times and was gone approximately 30 minutes each time. He should have had all of the parts needed the first time instead he left a second time and racked up more time.

The bottom line is they charged $200.25 in labor and $135 for an ice machine filter and $12 for fittings for a gouged total of $358.64. All they did was change an ice machine filter and clean the coils on the ice machine & refrigerator. This is a job that could be done in 30 minutes, or less, but instead we were billed for 2.25 hours of labor. We have had this same filter replaced previously at no where near the cost or time. Last guy took 5 to 10 minutes to screw the new filter off and on.

Aerocool pads clogged, failed 7/15/22. Called the usual suspects in Barstow, no luck. Wife heard of H & B Refrigeration from a friend, and they had the correct pads in stock! Picked them up and the pads were applied and cooling my house in 15 minutes ! Thank you, ladies, and all of H & B !!

I heard about their custom made Evaporative Cooler pads from Chris, the parts manager at A/C Cooling Plus in Victorville. Decided to call up and see if they had any pads for my 3K CFM side discharge evap cooler which had been doing a poor job of cooling my home and couldn't break the 80 F mark. Called up, spoke with Donna who confirmed that they had pads in stock that could be modified to fit my requirements. Made the :30 minute drive up from Apple Valley, purchased, modified and installed the new pads. Now my four giant breed dogs and I are enjoying the 72 F temps inside. I'd say that the 8 degree difference, with a total of almost 30 degrees below the mean outside temps, is a most significant accomplishment. It made the difference of just barely getting by, to being more than comfortable. I'm sold on H&B evap cooler pads, highly recommend them, and will be ordering two sets for next year. Thanks for making these improved evap cooler pads available, my Leos and Pyrs are most grateful too!
