Heather is fantastic! I booked a Signature Beauty Session as I am in my 50's and have never really worn make up and have no idea how to properly apply anything. I was nervous at the start, but Heather puts you at ease right away. The session was terrific, I left feeling like a new person. The session was much more than just makeup but also discussed what colors looked best on me. Heather is genuine, helpful and amazing at what she does. She listened, gave helpful hints. I walked away feeling much more confident and a new perspective. The video lessons she sent out after the makeup lesson are extremely helpful as another tool in your make up kit. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to know more about make up lessons or make up application for your big event. Thank you Heather.

Heather was phenomenal on my wedding day, and having her there to help me get ready was genuinely a highlight of the day. I was running a little behind but she was flexible and accommodating. In moments of stress, she helped calm me down. She has a positive energy that radiates and makes those around her feel relaxed. I was so grateful to her!

Heather felt inspired after she saw my flower crown on the wedding day and gave me an option to stick with our original plan for my hair (from our trial), or allow her to take an artistic route. I told her to take the artistic route, and her instinct resulted in absolute perfection with my hair! My hair and makeup stayed put ALL day and night, even after hours of dancing. Total magic! I was worried about having fake lashes all day, but she applied them so well that I didn’t even notice them. It was amazing. She also did the flower girl’s hair and simple makeup, as well as the hair of two of my sister’s, and everyone loved Heather and her work. She made all of us feel so beautiful and confident.

Heather’s knowledge, skills, and creativity are a beautiful combination, and I would recommend her again and again for hair and makeup! Thank you, Heather!

Heather is amazing. She did my wedding makeup, as well as my mother-in-law's. Not only did she make us look and feel gorgeous the day of, she made the entire process so comfortable and easy. As someone who doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis, I was really nervous about striking the right balance between feeling like myself and feeling bridal and photo-ready. She nailed it 100%. Now looking for more reasons to get my makeup done by her!

Heather is absolutely lovely to work with! She was the first vendor we booked (after our venue) because I knew I needed a HMU team that only used cruelty free makeup, and she has that industry in ATX locked down for good reason. She doesn't hesitate to share her opinion on what she thinks will/won't work for you, but still worked well with my feedback. She's meticulous with fine tuning HMU details until everything is just right. Our lashes stayed on all day/night, mascara and eyeliner didn't budge, and my foundation stayed smooth/wore evenly in light of ALL the dancing. My only complaint is that my hair fell almost immediately after our ceremony, though we had a game plan for that in case it happened (I had an outdoor wedding and it was humid, so really I'm just glad it held up through family photos). I do wish she would have done my hair in the same manner as my bridesmaids' since I asked that we all have the same style, and theirs stayed all night so maybe mine would have lasted a bit longer. But all is well that ends well, and at the end of the day I would recommend Heather to anybody in need of HMU services for a wedding or event! And I would book her again! Thank you Heather!

If I could give Heather more than five stars, I absolutely would. She was a pinnacle point of my wedding day. She made me feel so confident and beautiful. It truly would not have been the same without her. I didn’t do a pre wedding trial but just trusted her to do what she does best, and boy did she deliver! She created an absolute masterpiece of a hairstyle and enhanced my natural facial features. By the end of the night, neither my hair nor makeup had budged. Besides being an incredible artist, Heather is an amazing human being and in my opinion is an exceptional addition to anyone’s wedding day.

Heather is super receptive, and collaborated with me to figure out how to give a little extra sparkle to a subtle more natural style.
