Kim is an incredibly talented makeup artist who I highly recommend! She has done my maternity photo makeup twice, office headshot makeup, and family portrait glam, always leaving me looking and feeling amazing. What can I say about Kim...she is an amazing MUA. She specializes on enhancing your natural beauty without making is seem like you're wearing a mask. My oldest brother passed away the week leading up to our wedding. Kim not only made my mom and I look beautiful, but her genuine caring, kind, and loving personality made the experience not only better for me but also for my mother. I will never forget how she made me feel on our special day and all the love and support I received from her.

I stopped wearing make-up decades ago, but I wanted to look presentable as a wedding attendee. I booked an appointment with Kim Clay Artistry with no recommendations or expectations before traveling to Colorado Springs. When I sat in her chair, I told her I had two requirements: I didn't want to look like a ghost or a clown. To which she retorted "well it's good because I don't do clown make-up." Kim involved me in the decision-making about what "look" will be best. She worked to enhance my natural gifts, which I appreciated. If you are a person of color, you want to sit in her chair. You won't have to worry that she may not know what to do with your skin tone or she won't have the right shades. Trust me, she knows what she's doing. We planned an out of town destination shoot in Colorado and needed professional hair and makeup there, not knowing anyone. Found Kim and had nothing short of a brilliant experience! Her communication was great leading up to the event, and her services were spectacular. She had a lovely studio space in which we could meet for initial hair & makeup. She did beautiful work on both our models then came on site and hiked up a mountain with us to do touch-ups and changes! I only wish we lived in Colorado so we could work with her all the time! Thank you Kim, I hope we can work together again sometime.

Kim is the best beauty makeup artist in Colorado. I’m saying this as a former makeup artist AND a former bridal party client. She’s professional, experienced, talented, kind AND a ton of fun to be around. I’ve never felt more beautiful than when Kim did my bridesmaid makeup and I know the bride felt the same- If I could have to I 100% would have flown her out for my own wedding on the East Coast!
