This spot is amazing ?! We stopped by on the way home because out other restaurant choice was too far, we're so glad we did. The breakfast and dinner is good you can't go wrong with anything that you order here. The staff was friendly and the owner personable. Great gem ? in Tampa.

Lunch for some southern food. Lovely decore, staff was very attentive and friendly! We also got some yummy peach cobbler home for dessert and more corn bread.

In town for a conference. Others will arrive tomorrow..I was the scout for local food spots. This was a win!! The neighborhood is a little rough but the restaurant is clean..inside and out. Employees greet you with a smile making you feel like they know you. Food was reasonably priced with good size portions. Smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, greens, corn bread, and house beverage!! Strongly recommend if you are looking for a soul food restaurant. Kiara took my order and gave suggestions.

On a little vacation in Tampa and I always visit BLACK-OWNED RESTAURANTS. The facility was very nice and clean including the restroom. My waiter was very nice and helpful. I got the fish bites as an appetizer and the turkey wing entree. The fish bites were the ish! So good and fresh. The turkey wing was good and so was the Mac and cheese. Didn't care for the greens. A bit too vinegary for me. But the honey corn bread was delicious! Also MILITARY DISCOUNT! I would definitely come again.

The food was very good, tasty, hot and the portions were large. The service was very good, courteous, friendly and we were seated fast. The place was decorated very nicely with southern charm and very clean. They treated us to tummy honey muffins. I had the smothered pork, butter beans, collards and white rice. My mate had the fish and grits. All was very good.

We are celebrating our anniversary and wanted to try a restaurant we’ve never been to.

I have to say the food was “EXCEPTIONALLY DELICIOUS”.

It felt like my grandma was in the kitchen cooking.

We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back.

Customer service was also amazing!!!

Best plate of soul food I've had in a looooong time. I had the smothered pork chop, mac & cheese, and collard greens. Everything was cooked to perfection. Restaurant staff was polite and professional. Also got to meet the owner. Highly recommend.
