David is a master and an artist. He has transformed the color of my hair and it lasts much longer than past highlights. You don't get this level of skill in most places. The setting is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend him!

I happened upon this gorgeous salon, the oldest Aveda salon in the world!, to get help with directions. I've never seen such eloquent lashish & beautiful furniture in my life!! The previous owner had 45 years invested in this impressive property. His son was so kind and generous and soon I will be his client. Aveda is my favorite place to shop and beautify my gorgeous hair, This Salon is in a Breathtaking mountain side area of Boulder Colorado.
Ican't wait to go back!!!! Thank you

Bad bad super bad experience with this David guy, first he wanted to tell me what to do with my hair when I got there. I had already a consultation with him to tell him what I wanted he said he “could” do it he starts bleaching the TOP OF my head first we all know everyone start at the tips of the hair since it takes the bottom longer time to lift. no he smugged the bleach everywhere on my head he saw that the color on the bottom was lifting fast so he took me to the sink and started rinsing the bottom part of my scalp only then left me at the sink for 30 min while taking another Client who was also mad about him not taking her for her time in
Then when he was drying my hair he was sayin he loved it na na na and then I saw my top did not match my bottom part he still had the dignity to tell me he didn’t have time to Style my hair and sent me home like in the pictures he does not care
I messaged him that same night asking for a retouch cause my hair wasn’t even color he said okay at 8 am I went to my appointment got there 15 min late and told me he couldn’t see me anymore he only refunded me half of what I paid him do not go here at all if u want a full color he will not value ur trust . He was also blaming me for the problem he scammed me!!!

On Broadway was amazing in every way! They were so accommodating to our group and let us take pictures on their gorgeous patio. I had both my trial and hair done by Donna who is one of the sweetest people I've ever met! She helped me start off my wedding day relaxed and made me feel beautiful.

Unfortunately David really messed up my hair. I was relatively happy with the cut but the colour was completely wrong. I asked for ginger/copper, but he did a deep brown red with purple hues. And then denied it, before ultimately offering me a 1/2 refund after trying to wash it out. It was a really sad experience, I was distraught. probably should have seen the signs considering some previous reviews and another lady who was there getting it re-dyed who’d had a similar experience! Not a good colourist in my opinion. He rushed it and didn’t at all achieve what I asked for. Thankfully it’s semi-permanent. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was excited for a change & I’m disappointed so thought to be honest for future clients considering a colour change here.

Larissa took the time to get to know my goal of growing my hair long, and trimmed the right amount! I can’t wait to do more balayage, haircuts and treatments with her:) She is knowledgeable about the health of the hair, and willing to teach techniques to improve scalp and hair health. I was having a rough day and haven't received a haircut in a few years (been shaving my head). I needed to get a haircut for an end of year school event and every single place in Boulder was packed. Kai was kind enough to stay past On Broadway's closing time and offer me one of the best haircuts I have experienced throughout my years of having hair. He really does an excellent fade. He was kind, efficient, and skilled. It was even more of an amazing experience when seeing his adorable dogs walking around the store. To top it all off, he gave me the haircut FOR FREE. Overall, an amazing studio, with an awesome staff. They received a consistent customer here (for as long as I have hair).

I rarely go to the same salon twice, but I had never sought out the same hairstylist twice until I was scheduled with Kai at the end of last year. Since my initial appointment, I have been back to him once already and recommended him to a friend who also plans on making future appointments with him at On Broadway Salon. Inside, there are gorgeous antique vanities that make On Broadway unlike any other salon I have been to because their attention to detail in creating a welcoming, professional, clean, unique environment makes the experience of getting your hair done here special. Furthermore, the cuts Kai has done for me have transformed my hair in the sense that it feels healthier, shinier, and stronger than it ever has. I can’t say enough good things about this salon and I cannot wait until the next time I need to get my haircut. In the meantime though, I recommend booking an appointment at On Broadway Salon to everyone looking to get a haircut in the Boulder area.
