The Reveal Hair & Makeup team was a dream to work with for my wedding day! I did a trial about a month before the wedding so that I could test drive my planned look. My stylists were fun, friendly, and incredibly professional, and gave me a lot of welcomed advice so I could perfect my HMU for the big day. On the wedding day, the team was punctual and even finished ahead of schedule, so the process was very relaxing and fun overall. I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out, and so were our bridesmaids and moms (and the flower girl, who felt so "grown up"!)

I had a great experience hiring Reveal for my wedding makeup! My artist, Sonia, was not only professional and experienced, but was also fun and friendly, which calmed my wedding day nerves. The customer service Reveal provides is unmatched, and they made sure to communicate with me every step of the way: from the makeup trial up to my wedding day. They made sure to answer any and all of my questions in a timely and professional manner, and were very flexible and accommodating when I asked them to add extra people to my wedding day makeup. I definitely recommend them to any brides looking for an affordable but high-quality makeup and/or hair stylist for their wedding day!

Sonia and Gabi did my and my mother's hair and makeup for my wedding and it was just the most incredible experience. I felt so beautiful and both the hair and makeup services exceeded all my expectations. They both did such a fantastic job. Additionally, my mother, who quite literally has never said anything positive about her hair before in her entire life, couldn't stop raving about her hair and makeup.

In addition to being extraordinary hair and makeup artists, Sonia and Gabi were so kind and such a blast to have around while we were getting ready.

I highly recommend booking Reveal for all your wedding hair and makeup needs. I booked them about 9 months before my wedding and over the course of those months, emailed many times with many questions! Ashley (customer service) was always so sweet and very responsive. She did an awesome job of dealing with a stressed out bride and even helping me add on a service the night before the wedding. 4 of my bridesmaids and I booked their mobile spray tan service 2 days before the wedding. The lady who came (I think was Sarah?) was so nice and made us feel super comfortable. She did a great job! The day of my wedding they sent 2 hairstylists and 2 makeup artists, plus the owner, Allison, to provide our services (bride, bridesmaids, flower girls, mothers, etc)! They did an incredible job and everyone raved about how well the hair and makeup turned out. Gabi did the best makeup I’ve ever had and Megan was awesome with my hair! I’m so thankful I booked Reveal!

I hired them for an out of state wedding. I asked if I should do a trial run in the state that i live, beforehand. They assured me that most brides don’t do need a trial run.

I haven’t been to many weddings let alone been in a room with a bride to know the order of operations. However people in the wedding industry do these timelines constantly. They’re pros. So I trusted their judgement.

Unfortunately that was a mistake. They did my hair and makeup last. My mom went first then my bestfriend. There were two girls for 3 of us. Seemed pretty simple.

I watched the girl doing hair redo my bestfriends updo probably 5x.

Moral of the story we ran behind. I didn’t even have time to look in the mirror before running out of the room to stick to our timeline. I felt like I should have had the most time in the chair and just felt like my services were so rushed I didn’t even have time to correct anything. Truly a shame also considering I was paying the most for services as a bride.

I have a flower headpiece and they literally put it on the top of my head. It looked awful and I ended up photoshopping it out of every single wedding photo. It should have been much much lower.

I just hope moving forward everyone you hire knows to ALWAYS do the bride first. Instead of sitting around, I could been done used the time with my photographer and gotten touched up. Hind sight.

Pro - My curls stayed in on a very windy day. Even after a brush out.
Cons that could have been avoided:
One of my eyelashes was halfway coming off after our 15 min ceremony. They didn’t do a great job blending my clip in extensions. My half up half down was pulled fairly tight back when it should have been a more laxed look. All of these could have been adjusted had I gone first.

I am so happy with my decision to use Reveal Hair and Makeup for my wedding day. They did an amazing job with me and my friends and perfected the "natural look" for all of us.

As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was nervous about not looking like myself on my wedding day. Gabi was my stylist for both hair and makeup and I did a full trial before the actual day. She listened to all of my feedback and executed my look flawlessly. I didn't want to take my makeup off at the end of the night - it still looked so amazing!

They sent 4 stylists and everyone was so kind, calm, and talented. There's already a lot of stress on a wedding day and this team was so great to be around. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to anyone I know getting married in the San Diego area.

Reveal hair and makeup was amazing! I found them through Instagram and getting a hold of them was so easy to book a trial. I was able to do a full trial for my wedding which involved two extremely experienced, super friendly stylists. They did not push any of their opinions when I vocalized what I wanted to do with my hair and make up, which is so rare these days. Flash forward to my wedding day, I decided I wanted to completely change my make up and my hair style that i had done at the trial. Instead of telling me no, or advising me against it, both my hairdresser and make up artist were both super positive and up for the challenge. They made my hair and makeup for my wedding PERFECT. In addition to getting my make up and hair done, I had all my bridesmaids and both moms get their hair and makeup done. Everyone was so happy about how they looked that they wouldn’t stop talking candid pictures. I even had one bridesmaid who is skeptical of hairstyles get her hair done because of how amazing all the ladies looked. I truly loved all the stylists involved in my special day and recommend all future brides to use Reveal for their wedding day.
