I booked a hair and makeup appointment for a Gala I recently attended in Washington, DC. Jossey arrived at my home and did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! I showed her a picture of a hair style I liked and she made it even prettier than the photo. The makeup was perfect… glamorous but not overdone. The makeup matched my dress color perfectly. I cannot say enough about Jossey… she is a very talented artist and I can’t wait to book another appointment with her for my next event.

We loved Christy!!!! Christy did my hair for my wedding along with my mother and maid of honor. I booked a trial with her beforehand and after just seeing a few pictures she nailed the look I wanted for the big day. I didn’t have any changes to what she came up with. She made me feel very comfortable to give her any critiques or changes, but I didn’t have any. It was clear that she cares about you being perfectly happy with her work. She was so nice and pleasant to work with. She also has a great personality and is fun to chat with. My hair also held up all day/ night without any touching up. I was really happy with it and my mom and maid of honor were as well. The whole booking process was so organized and the communication from Jocelyn is always timely and helpful. It was a great experience from start to finish and I’d highly recommend STG and Christy!

I have medium length hair, semi-thick, Caucasian brown hair asking for a bridal up-do.
Amy (the owner) was ON TIME, professional, kind, and pleasant to be around! My hotel room was on Fort Belvoir and she was happy to fill out the form and travel to the correct gate in order to make sure she could get on. When she arrived, it took less than 10 minutes for her to set up, and after showing her the style I was going for, it took her seconds to figure out where to start! Now, I personally gave her to go-ahead to tease as much as she wants which helped deliver the look I wanted, but as long as you condition your hair after, no damage will form.
The look itself was beautiful and intricate! She took her time and managed to finish (in my opinion) quickly. I definitely was paying for a style that I could not deliver on myself (especially in the time she did it!).
I had never worked with STG before this and was skeptical, but if the owner is this amazing, I would 1000% trust anyone she chooses to hire. Love STG!

The stylists with STG Beauty will make you and your bridesmaids wedding ready at the location that works best for you and they will do an amazing job. My husband and I were renewing our vows for our 5 year anniversary and I found STG through the Knot. I was so happy to find a company that allowed me to get ready at the location I wanted and at an early time since the ceremony was taking place at 11AM. Jossy and Enigma were wonderful to work with.

I began coming to Amy 2 years ago when I relocated to Old Town. I loved NoVa lashes and wanted to continue. Amy’s reviews were excellent and she did not disappoint and continues to keep my lashes looking fabulous! Her studio was always extremely clean and I look forward to seeing her soon and feeling safe with the reopening during this crazy time!

I cannot rave enough about how well Amy does her work. I went to her for my first ever lash extensions. I was pleased time and time again. I had an event and I was unable to get an appt in such short notice so I went to Amazing lashes instead, biggest mistake of my life! Shortly after application the lashes felt brittle, they were itchy, they weren’t neat. I called Amazing Lashes and they did two “corrections” which weren’t really corrections. The lashes looked empty in two days after “fills” and initial application. I ended up asking them to remove them to no surprise my real lashes weren’t the same as they were when I applied them.

Here is where Amy comes in! It’s been a week, lashes still look full, they don’t bother me at all, she takes her time, she answers questions and listens to me about the look I’m going for, they’re neat and look amazing. I absolutely love her. I will never cheat on her again. Perfectionist in her work and won’t do anything to compromise your real lashes.

Great service!!! They arrived on time and were super friendly with me and my mom. We didn’t have a trial makeup/hair prior to the appointment, and after sharing a couple of pictures with both technicians, they were able to execute everything perfectly. Would definitely recommend!
