BEWARE!! Do not go here for PMU on lips! I went to Cookie as a “blank slate” & now need to seek laser removal for purple lip correction. I relied on her expertise/suggestion during the initial color consult but begged her on the follow-up appointments to change/fix the color since it looked like my lips were turning blue. She agreed but didn’t actually attempt color correction (and adding a different color) until the 3rd visit. Cookie confessed that she had never created this problem before & agreed to fix it to uphold her reputation. But she’s been ignoring my calls/texts/emails for 3 weeks now! I’m not convinced that she knows her color theory, or would even be able to handle this makeup repair, which is probably why I haven’t heard from her. She obviously doesn’t intend to make good on her promise of color correction, so I just want to warn others … Don’t waste your money here on lip color because you might end up a dissatisfied customer like me!

I have been going to Cookie for about 8 years now. She corrected a botched job by someone else and a fine job she did. It can be daunting getting permanent tattooing on your face but I do recommend Cookie as she has a lot of patience and extremely kind. Good people.

I’ve was so very lucky to have found Cookie several years ago after a very unfortunate experience with another permanent makeup person here in Austin. It took a lot of corrective work but Cookie is very talented and it turned out beautifully. I go in now just for touch ups as the ink will fade over the years but it still looks amazing. Cookie is an artist and so caring and kind. Her salon is always immaculate, comfortable, and a welcoming environment. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

The name is a bit deceiving as you can also get haircuts, nails and massages. As you walk inside there is a gift shop and waiting area. The suites for services are in the back. Tarah is a great massage therapist and I’ve been coming to her for over 10 years. I highly recommend her!

BEWARE
LIP PROCEDURE
My lips are polka dot and scared.
Cookie does not have the equipment or the talent do do a line and blur.
She makes a series of dots and pretends to connect them, then smears ink over like lipstick and instructs the client to leave that smear on for the color to take.
The room for procedure is not professional… when she worked on me she had people drop by and watch and she chatted with them….they stood on one side of me breathing in my face…then there is the matter of a dog and not behind a closed door. The environment is not professional nor hygienic.
I now must wear a dark unpleasant lipstick to hide the random purple dots and scars on my lips.

I had permanent makeup done in Ohio a few years ago, and it was faded and never very professional looking. I was still applying eyeliner and brow pencil most days.
Cookie corrected some of the old issues and applied the brows and liner the right way. I am very, very happy. It's so easy to complete my look each day with a smidge of powder and some mascara. It just makes life easier if you like to look polished. Thanks Cookie!
