Since my first conversation with Susmita, I immediately felt her passion for fashion and makeup artistry. She was incredibly considerate and deeply cared about what I envisioned for my wedding day. She helped me create the wedding I always dreamt of - from her helpful styling guidance while shopping in India to developing the perfect hair & make up looks. Susmita was involved from the very start of my wedding planning. She created beautiful custom designs for all of my outfits that complemented my personality and style perfectly. I was lucky enough to have her design my several engagement shoot looks as well. I have never met anyone that goes above and beyond for her brides like Susmita. She spent so much time making sure I was happy and comfortable throughout the entire process.

Weddings can be so stressful but having Susmita by my side was invaluable. She is an amazing stylist and artist to the core and her talent and creativity are truly extraordinary. I am not sure where to begin on saying Thank You to Susmita for the hard work, passion, expertise and job her and her team did for my wedding weekend. Susmita is not just a hair & makeup vendor, she is a true artist. Her love and passion for what she does shows true in every aspect of her work. Not only is she so creative and knowledgeable with her talent, but she is kind and calming at the same time, which is very important for any bride or her family during a wedding. At every moment, she made sure I felt comfortable, beautiful, and happy. She treated me like her own daughter. I started working with Susmita almost a year before my wedding. She was involved in every process and helped me with many aspects outside of just my wedding day looks. We came up with 6 looks in total for my wedding weekend. All of her feedback and contacts during my shopping or post-shopping crises was invaluable. Susmita went above and beyond and also made a few outfits for us such as my bridesmaids outfits & my pithi outfit-- it's safe to say that the workmanship, hard work, and tailored fit put into those outfits exceeded even that of top Indian designers. For the people around me- my parents, my sister, my bridesmaids, best friend and wedding coordinator, she was always so kind and open to helping them or offering her opinion for anything they needed. Susmita is a professional and a visionary. Between 7 events, 4 venues, 2 hotels- her or her team were always on time, never complained, and delivered 110%. Without Susmita by my side, our wedding would not have been a success and I would not have looked and felt the way I did. I am forever grateful to her and to the stars for giving me a new friend through this process.

I worked with Susmita for over a year as she helped me create my wedding looks that I will cherish for a lifetime. She is not just a “wedding vendor” to me – I consider her a friend, a confidant and a visionary who is so amazingly talented. I am so grateful that I found Style by Susmita – she is someone who months after my wedding, I will still keep in touch with because she has had such a genuinely positive and amazing impact on both me and my wedding.

I do not have enough good things to say about Susmita! Her background and experience is impressive, her knowledge is extensive, she is a true professional in every sense and an absolute delight. In addition, her calming personality was a pleasure to be around on such an important day with so many moving parts.
She did all of my wedding looks, from the outfits, jewelry selection, draping, hair and makeup for myself, my mother, sister-n-law and my best friend. All four of us wanted different looks and Susmita was able to execute and give each of us exactly what we wanted. Each of the looks we created together, my style and sense of representation was not lost. In fact she and her team incorporated all of our ideas and guided us along. We all received so many compliments, nearly a year later, family members and friends look back at our wedding weekend and still ask who created our unique looks?! I cannot recommend her enough. I do not know where to begin or how to express my gratitude for the amazing job Susmita and her team did for our wedding weekend. The enthusiasm, effort and kindness she has shown my family and I are truly unremarkable. Susmita’s talent and skills are absolutely perfection. My mother and I who are particularly skeptical when it comes to make up, were blown away by how stunning she made both of us look. Every single guest could not stop raving about how natural and flawless we appeared and that is all because of Susmita.
We are not only indebted to Susmita for a phenomenal job in terms of quality but her attention to detail when it comes to punctuality is unbelievable. We had a very hectic schedule with millions of timelines and short events going on that if it was not for her keen sense of time I would not have had a seamless wedding day.

If two thoughts could sum up my experience with Susmita that would be her positivity and calmness on the personal front and her exceptional brilliance on the professional front.

Within 10 minutes of me walking into my makeup trial with Susmita, I knew she was the one. I had tried all the major makeup artists in the tri-state area and what made her stand apart was her personality - she’s one of the sweetest and calmest people you could meet and knows exactly what the bride wants. What also set her apart was how she always went the extra mile (at all points) just to make sure I was at ease and comfortable.

On the big day, She was by my side from early dawn till late at night and made sure that my look was nothing short of perfect at every point in the day. My makeup came up exactly how I had envisioned and Susmita made sure I got the exact look that I was going for. So a huge Thank You for nailing the look and for the constant support throughout the day.

Every time I look at the wedding day pics, I have a large smile on my face because you made my dream makeup a reality and I looked exactly how I dreamt to look. I got profiled as a Sabyasachi bride and I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist to nail the Sabyasachi bride look - I am so glad that I ended up selecting you as my makeup artist.

She is a very positive person and what I remember from the wedding day is that in-spite of all the commotion of the wedding, she kept her calm and brought so much positive energy to the dynamic. I would highly recommend Susmita as I can very confidently say that you couldn’t ask for a better makeup artist and human being than Susmita for your Big Day makeup!!
