Beautiful studio! Starting with a scalp massage and shampoo, it was a great visit. The stylist had great attention to detail and didn't hesitate to start over to get the braiding perfect. Very great service and inexpensive.

Witnessed a beautiful act of kindness today at the salon while I had my hair done earlier. An elderly woman at least in her 80’s walked in with a cane, asking the owner ( Travis) if she can use the bathroom, since the bathroom at the doctor’s office next door where she came from did not function. Travis agreed with no hesitation, and even assisted her walking to the bathroom while she had a hard time walking with a cane. I was so touched with his genuine kindness.
Such random act of kindness is rare to find especially during this time, where everyone is so cautious letting anyone come into the store even just for a simple purchase. And here he is so caring for others. He truly fits the saying: Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have. Travis, thank you for lifting my spirits and put a smile on my face with your simple act of kindness. You showed kindness today and kindness will find you back. Great Experience. Very nice Salon, Professional hair stylists Travis and Eric. My husband got nice haircut and I got blow dry with curls. Positive vibes, great music and tea, coffee.

Travis scheduled me a week ahead, then called a few days later to ask that I move the appointment out 2 weeks. We agreed that I would use a different stylist. My stylist was not there when I arrived so I waited 25 minutes for him to drive over. He had been told my coloring appointment was just a touch up. Turns out travis was directing the appointment per camera. Eric, my stylist, did a good job but could not overcome travis's unprofessional behavior.

I have had my fair share of bad apples at various salons here in OC. It's been over 10 months since my last cut and I was in dire need of a change. I scheduled a hair appointment with Eric at Travis Vu Salon. The salon located across the 4 mile square park on Warner in a dull looking plaza. The salon itself is a hidden gem and stands out above the rest of the shops within the plaza. The salon is very chic, simple, and clean. I love the wooden textures set throughout the salon. Very pinterest and IG worthy. And if you need a fixer-upper, there's coffee at the entrance that you can make if you need it.

Eric was very sweet and friendly. He sat me down at his station and thoroughly explained what he would like to do with my hair. I gave him some of my input as well. We trimmed off 5-6 inches of my hair, color corrected my hair, and dyed it rose gold. I was very happy with the result. During the long process, he kept me company, got me drinks (wine and champagne on the house if needed) and informed me of any changes to my hair.

I would recommend everyone to come here at Travis Vu The Salon. The staff here is very professional and friendly. The ambience here is relaxing and when your hair is done, there is plenty of natural lighting for that selfie! I would probably not let anyone in SoCal to touch my hair except Eric. The prices here is affordable and reasonable. They are also more than happy to assist you if you need to figure out your budget.

Overall, I have super happy with the way my hair turned out! You won't be disappointed!

Great haircut place! I have long, thick, and tangly black hair. I came here after work and the inside of this location is so aesthetically pretty and welcoming. The hairdressers are really nice and did a great job with cutting my hair. Will be coming back for sure!

My hair was a mess dir3ctly affected by the Covid. I needed help for a long while. There was no one in L.A. County open for business. My fiance spotted this place coveted on T.V. They're cutting hair outside. Yes,bit was hot outside in spite of the shade, but Mr. Vu himself did a fantastic makeover on my hair. I'd recommend his salon to everyone.
